A platform to unite brand teams across 100 regions
The challenge was to design a new global platform to connect Standard Chartered's brand, marketing, sponsorship, corporate affairs, communications and design teams across over 100 reigons. The platform needed to educate teams on the bank's brand standards, inspire them with best in class examples, and empower them with creative and operations tools for better autonomy.

Innovating from the ground up
Our vision was a radical transformation. We aimed to redefine every process through a stunning, modern design language, crafted from scratch. This meant not just a new look, but a completely reimagined user experience. With the platform replacing hundreds of pages of PDFs, we knew a radically simplified navigation system was essential.
Empowering a global workforce
We empowered teams to create stunning, on-brand content with ease. The platform offered a toolkit of pre-designed templates adaptable to countless occasions and languages. Designed to be intuitive for anyone, regardless of design expertise, it democratised the creative process. To ensure brand integrity, we integrated an AI-powered feature,SenseCheck, which instantly flagged any deviations from brand guidelines.
Digital assets made easy
We created an intuitive digital asset bank. More than just storage, it was a well curated treasure trove of easily accessible images, each accompanied by essential details to ensure their effective use.
Interactive guidelines
Over 200 pages of PDF documents were re-written and illustrated as highly interactive brand guidelines. Guideline pages use a 'card' system so users could understand the basics at a glance, or click into a card for deeper guidance. Playful sections let users play with guideline elements and earn badges for completing masterclasses.

From design vision to reality, building out the platform in a scalable way was key, with a detailed pattern library, component suite and content matrix.
Radically transforming a brand
The brand centre platfrom is now live and supercharing how brand, marketing, sponsorship, corporate affairs, communications and design teams across over 100 reigons. It was received with great excitement and led to a large project to completely redesign the banks most high profile public facing site: sc.com.
